Common questions

How do I restore Kairos Pro on a new iPhone?

Open the paywall (tap any Pro feature) and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought with.

How do I cancel my subscription?

iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Kairos. Pro stays open until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

My birth time is uncertain. What changes?

The Ascendant moves about one sign every two hours, and the houses with it. The planets’ signs rarely change within a few hours, except the Moon, which moves about half a degree an hour.

Which zodiac and positions does Kairos use?

The tropical zodiac and apparent geocentric positions, with Placidus, Whole sign or Equal houses. Inside the polar circles, where Placidus is undefined, Kairos uses Porphyry.

Why does my old date show a different time zone?

Kairos uses the IANA time zone history for each city. Before about 1970 local rules are sometimes uncertain; if you know the exact offset, set the time accordingly.

The widget says it is part of Kairos Pro.

The Home Screen widget comes with Kairos Pro. After buying or restoring Pro, open Kairos once and the widget shows the chart.

The widget shows an older chart.

The App prepares the widget’s charts for the next 24 hours each time you open it. Open Kairos once a day to keep the widget current.
